MiGoodnessGracious

Yep, Still dieting, no less.

But, I have been moving between 202 and 206. And still working out for a half hour at the Fitness Center every morning. Feel good but still need to get my weight down to the 190s.

Yep, I'm obsessed about it, but I'm the only nagger in this family.

Well, I am greatly impressed with Amazon Books and the fact that it is quite easy to move my books onto my Amazon Dashboard. I have about 10 completed and another six or seven in the hopper of being updated and reformatted.

What I like is that I don't have to keep an inventory.

Not selling briskly yet, but I need to work on the marketing angle.

Here I go Again

  • Currently at midstream in the year, is when I usually take time out to refresh my body with dieting, cleansing, exercising, etc. --- all washed down with 1 martini, 2 martini, 3 martini and so on.
I weigh in every morning and come to realize that with each martini, I gain 1 pound.
So today, I'm up to 215 pounds. Before I left for New Orleans 4 weeks ago, I weighed in at 206.
Therefore -- Yes, therefore -- I'm am back on my protein diet and I started working out for a half hour everyday except Sunday at the local Fitness center. I will keep an account of my progress, or lack of it, on this site.
Cheerio -- I'm off to Cathy Jackson's Synergy Fitness Center in the Amish Collection complex of Eureka Springs.

Getting ready to make that 12 hour drive by myself to the Big Easy. I'm having supper at Drago's in Metairie with 3 of my daughters and their spouses. I know that within the week before my return to Oz I will have gained 10 pounds min.
My bar hangout is at Sweet Willie's on Kent off W Esplanade in Metairie and will make my nephews wedding on Fri before heading out to Pass Christian in MS. Yep, I'm going to devour tons of oysters.

Eureka Springs has much to offer by way of enticing local talent and those with spare time to participate in. The particular projects that I invite others to join in are the Krewe of Krazo for Mardi Gras, the Krewe of Blarney for St Patricks, and a new event, the Cinco de Mayo Festival a running of the Bulls in Eureka Springs --- on top of that -- How about helping with the First Night Celebration for New Year's Eve -- The Dropping of the Ball.

Before the Beginning

It takes me a while before I can perform meritorious writings on community history and heritage. I have a passion for accuracy which results in the need for several years of indepth research. It is important to have access to historical and archival information and it is not unusual to me to be confronted by some resistance in acquiring meaningful data from individuals and institutions that hold their ground in protectionism.

Needless to say, I have reached some great successes in uncovering some facts that are open and available through the internet arena. It is for this reason I enjoy expounding through personal websites. In this regard, I am most fortunate in having access to the John Cross Bank of Eureka Springs data bank of old photographs.
